அன்னாசி

தாழை இலை போன்ற நீண்ட அடுக்கான மடல்களை உடைய செடி. கொல்லிமலை போன்ற இடங்களில் பேரளவில் பயிரிடப் பெற்றுப் பழமாக விலைக்குக் கிடைக்கும். இப்பழம் பூந்தாழம் பழம் எனவும் வழங்கப்பெறும். இலை பழம் ஆகியவை மருத்துவப் பயனுடையவை.

நுண்புழுக் கொல்லுதல், வியர்வை சிறுநீர் பெருக்குதல், மலமிளக்குதல், குருதிப்பெருக்கைத் தணித்தல், மாதவிலக்கைத் தூண்டுதல் ஆகிய மருத்துவப் பண்புகளை உடையது.

இப்பழம் மாதவிலக்கைத் தூண்டும் ஆகையால் கருவுற்றவர் உண்ணாதிருத்தல் நலம். அதிக அளவில் உண்டால் தொண்டைக் கட்டும்.

1. இலைச்சாறு 10 மி.லி. யில் சிறிது சர்க்கரைக் கலந்து கொடுக்க விக்கல் நிற்கும்.

2. பழச்சாற்றைச் சற்று சூடுசெய்து குடித்து வர வாந்தி, வயிற்றுக் கடுப்பு காமாலை ஆகியவை தீரும்.

3. பழச்சாற்றுடன் சர்க்கரை சேர்த்துத் தேன் பதமாகக் காய்ச்சி நாள்தோறும் இருவேளை 10&15 மி.லி. உண்டு வரத் தாகம், வாந்தி, வெள்ளை, வெட்டை, சுவையின்மை ஆகியவை தீரும்.
