  2. Wonderful article! Small correction in couple of places: 1. Purananuru dates are circa 500 B.C (2) Tradition of manju virattu (sallikattu) dates back 4000-5000 years. Its found in Indus valley civilization & Minoan civilization. (3) sathirattam is thousands of years old, in the 1930's it was stolen by indo-Aryans and renamed it as bharathanatyam (this is how they stole almost everything from Tamil, Parkrit). You may be interested/surprised to know cameroonian speaks Thamil :) even today!

  3. Anna Katharina Emmerick: The first [proto indo european] tongue, the mother tongue, spoken by Adam, Shem, and Noah, was different, and it is now extant only in isolated dialects. Its first pure [indo iranian] offshoots are the Zend, the sacred tongue of India, and the language of the Bactrians. In those languages, words may be found exactly similar to the Low German of my native place. The book that I see in modern Ctesiphon, on the Tigris, is written in that language.
